Udruženje ”Srce za djecu oboljelu od raka” organizovat će od 22. do 26. jula 15. po redu Rehabilitacioni kamp ”Vlašić 2024”. Učestvovat će više od 200 mališana i njihovih roditelja i braće i sestara sa područja cijele FBiH, koji su izborili svoju bitku i pobijedili rak.
Glavni donatori ovogodišnjeg kampa su Ministarstvo odbrane BiH i Ministarstvo za ljudska prava i izbjeglice BiH.
Podrška mališanima oboljelim od raka je ključna tokom intenzivnog liječenja, ali je neophodna i nakon njega. Nakon liječenja poseban akcenat stavljamo na važnost rehabilitacije i njenog značaja za djecu oboljelu od raka. Kao i svake godine posebno smo ponosni na volontere kampa iz naše grupe MladiCe – mladi koji su u djetinjstvu izliječeni od raka. Oni kroz svoj volonterski angažman sa djecom dodatno motivišu djecu i roditelje da je konačna pobjeda nad rakom moguća. Svi s nestrpljenjem čekaju i raduju se aktivnostima i druženju, navode organizatori.
Udruženje, svake godine, pruža posebno osmišljen program rehabilitacionog kampa za djecu oboljelu i liječenu od raka i njihove roditelje. Čitav program je besplatan, uključujući smještaj, hranu, aktivnosti i medicinsku skrb. Rehabilitacioni kamp se finansira donacijama, grantovima i aktivnostima Udruženja.
Ciljevi kampa su jačanje imuniteta, otpornosti i fizičke izdržljivosti djece; psihosocijalno jačanje; jačanje samopouzdanja, samopoštovanja i uključivanje u grupu vršnjaka; povećanje nezavisnosti, samouvjerenosti, otvorenosti prema novim stvarima i iskustvima; socijalno jačanje – pozitivan utjecaj grupe, resocijalizacija i povratak u matičnu sredinu; smanjenje stresa, anksioznosti, poticanje kreativnog izričaja i pozitivnog stave; jačanje porodičnih veza; podizanje svijesti o dječijem raku i posljedicama liječenja.
