Zgrada Ujedinjenih nacija (UN) u New Yorku je nakratko evakuisana nakon što se oglasio protivpožarni alarm, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
Protivpožarni alarm se, navodno, aktivirao zbog manjeg požara u podrumu zgrade UN-a.
Potom je cijela zgrada nakratko evakuisana, dok su prekinuta i zasjedanja Vijeća sigurnosti UN-a i Generalne skupštine Ujedinjenih naroda (UNGS).
Nakon 15 minuta, uposlenici UN-a i diplomate su ponovo mogli ući u zgradu.
Iz Ujedinjenih nacija su za AA potvrdili da je u prostoriji u podrumu zgrade izbio manji požar čiji uzrok još nije poznat.
Protivpožarni alarm se navodno aktivirao kada se prostorijom počeo širiti dim.
Čitava zgrada je evakuisana jer su se u podrumu nalazile zapaljive hemikalije.
